Happy Halloween! This is one of my first designs I have made on canvas. I had some old canvas, I have kept in the storage. We have used it as curtain decorations at our wedding. I like to craft and I also like to sew, so I would never throw fabric away. This week it was the perfect time to make something with it. I have decided to make several grocery tote bags. Who doesn’t need one, since we get charged for store bags. I can use different designs and they will make perfect Christmas presents.
NOTE: This is a heavy duty canvas. Since I have never applied vinyl to different fabrics than a T-shirt, I have learned a lesson. Read the instruction on vinyl! As vinyl cuts beautifully, it didn’t stick to the fabric. I have go back to the store to do a little research on have duty vinyl. A HTV vinyl worked perfectly and I finally was able to finish my project.
